River Guide Rustic Salvage Sign [choose river]

Jeff & Heather Kempka

Order by Dec 8 to insure Christmas delivery

A unique piece of western wall decor for anglers and those who love the rustic, cabin look of this time-worn river guide sign. This would feature well as an accent inside our outdoors, as lodge or cabin themed wall decor.

River Choice Madison River, Bitterroot River or Blackfoot River

The Madison River, probably the most famous Montana trout stream, originates in Yellowstone National Park. It runs north through the Madison valley and ends merging with the Gallatin and Jefferson Rivers to form the mighty Missouri. The Madison and its stunning setting attracts both fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the country and world.

Weathered to look as if this sign once graced the entrance to a long-established fly-fishing shop, this sign pays homage to the world-class fishing on the Bitterroot River.

The Blackfoot River, a beautiful stretch of water north of Missoula, is known to all those adventurers who call western Montana their home. This river attracts both fisherman and rafters with its great fishing and white-water rapids.

All signs are hand-made from salvaged barnwood and hand-painted. This sign pays an excellent homage to Montana lovers, adventurers, and those who love the rustic, cabin look. Also makes the perfect gift to commemorate a special time or a trip.

Dimensions: approx. size of 18" X 23"

Details

Inspired by vintage trail and national park signs, these beautiful wood signs are a reproduction of the beloved, natural places close to our hearts. Many of the designs are original and some are based on historical signs and trail markers. Each rustic sign is handcrafted and hand-painted in Hamilton, Montana.

Made of only salvaged and reclaimed wood acquired from ranches and buildings in Montana, these reproductions of the timeworn trail and park signs Montanans encounter on our many adventures tell a wonderful story. Most of the wood salvaged is rich with Montana history.

Please note you will receive a one-of-a-kind sign that will be very similar to those photoed but not exact. Each piece is unique in the character and patina of the wood. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina (see Disclaimer tab).

From the Artists:

"Since we acquire our barnwood locally in small batches, each sign is unique and will be HANDMADE UPON ORDER. THE ITEM PICTURED IS A SAMPLE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina. This ends up in each sign being a unique original. If you have any special requests regarding wood, please inquire upon ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.

We choose wood for its patina, not its perfection! Because the wood we use for our signs is reclaimed, imperfections in the wood can be expected. Also, be cautious when handling the signs as an occasional sliver may occur. While we try, please understand that not all the materials used to build the sign may be reclaimed (ex. braces, screws, hangers)."
