MTN Goat Glacier National Park Rustic Sign
*All the signs from Jeff & Heather Kempka are made to order. The production time is about 17 days*
Weathered to look as if it came right from Glacier National Park, this sign evokes a sense of age and history. Glacier Park is famous for it’s awe-inspiring mountains and glaciers and is also home to a variety of wildlife, including the mountain goat, which is depicted in this artwork. The mountain goat has become a defining symbol of Glacier Park – borrowed from the Great Northern Railway symbol. The railway brought passengers to northern Montana in the early 1900s and led to the creation of Glacier National Park.
All signs are hand-made, hand-built, hand-painted and originally created designs made from Montana barnwood. Come ready to hang.

From the Artists:
"Since we acquire our barnwood locally in small batches, each sign is unique and will be HANDMADE UPON ORDER. THE ITEM PICTURED IS A SAMPLE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina. This ends up in each sign being a unique original. If you have any special requests regarding wood, please inquire upon ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.
We choose wood for its patina, not its perfection! Because the wood we use for our signs is reclaimed, imperfections in the wood can be expected. Also, be cautious when handling the signs as an occasional sliver may occur. While we try, please understand that not all the materials used to build the sign may be reclaimed (ex. braces, screws, hangers)."
