About the Artist:
Monte Dolack, a lifelong Montana native, draws inspiration from the sweeping landscapes and wildlife of the American West. Known for his iconic Invaders Series—wild animals occupying human homes—his work blends mythology, nature, and modern life with wit and irony. A passionate advocate for environmental causes, he has created commissions for the Nature Conservancy, Defenders of Wildlife, and Trout Unlimited, and was chosen to design the official national poster for the 50th Anniversary of the American Wilderness Act. His works are held in the collections of the Library of Congress and have been exhibited internationally, from Dublin to Beijing.
