Glacier National Park Salvage Barnwood Sign
$ 206.10 $ 229.00
Weathered and aged, this piece of lodge decor is suited to any Montana home. Glacier Park is famous for its awe-inspiring mountains and glaciers and wildlife, including the mountain goat, which is depicted in this austere salvage sign.
The piece came from the Great Northern Railway symbol, a historic railroad which in the early 1900s, brought passengers to northern Montana and led to the creation of Glacier National Park. This sign evokes a sense of history of the park and the simplicity of the past.
All signs are hand-made, hand-built, hand-painted and originally created designs made from Montana barnwood. This sign pays excellent homage to Montana lovers, adventurers, and those who love the rustic, cabin look. It also makes the perfect gift to commemorate a special time or a trip.

From the Artists:
"Since we acquire our barnwood locally in small batches, each sign is unique and will be HANDMADE UPON ORDER. THE ITEM PICTURED IS A SAMPLE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina. This ends up in each sign being a unique original. If you have any special requests regarding wood, please inquire upon ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.
We choose wood for its patina, not its perfection! Because the wood we use for our signs is reclaimed, imperfections in the wood can be expected. Also, be cautious when handling the signs as an occasional sliver may occur. While we try, please understand that not all the materials used to build the sign may be reclaimed (ex. braces, screws, hangers)."
