Yellowstone Grizzly Vintage Sign

Jeff & Heather Kempka

This rustic salvage barnwood sign commemorates Yellowstone - America's First National Park established in 1872.  The Yellowstone Grizzly Vintage Sign is made from reclaimed wood and painted with a Grizzly silhouette. This is a classic looking piece of western wall art that is sure to impress and last forever.

Yellowstone Park is famous for it's gorgeous valleys, geysers, and rivers and is also home to a variety of wildlife, including the Grizzly Bear, which is depicted in this artwork. "The Griz" once numbered 100,00 and inhabited most of the American West. Now Yellowstone is the southernmost habitat for 150 of the estimated 1,000 remaining in the lower 48 states.

Details

Inspired by vintage trail and national park signs, these beautiful wood signs are a reproduction of the beloved, natural places close to our hearts. Many of the designs are original and some are based on historical signs and trail markers. Each rustic sign is handcrafted and hand-painted in Hamilton, Montana.

Made of only salvaged and reclaimed wood acquired from ranches and buildings in Montana, these reproductions of the timeworn trail and park signs Montanans encounter on our many adventures tell a wonderful story. Most of the wood salvaged is rich with Montana history.

Please note you will receive a one-of-a-kind sign that will be very similar to those photoed but not exact. Each piece is unique in the character and patina of the wood. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina (see Disclaimer tab).

From the Artists:

"Since we acquire our barn wood locally in small batches, each sign is unique and will be HANDMADE UPON ORDER. THE ITEM PICTURED IS A SAMPLE OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT. The final product will have the same design and colors as pictured, but the wood will vary slightly in color and patina- each sign being a unique original.
We choose wood for its patina, not its perfection! Because the wood we use for our signs is reclaimed, imperfections in the wood can be expected.
